Exhibition Introduction

The 2025 India Printing and Label Printing Exhibition (PRINTPACK) will be held from February 1st to February 5th, 2025. The Indian printing industry has enormous development potential and is the largest and fastest-growing industry among all industrial sectors in India; The entire India has 130000 working printing presses, with a total funding of over 14 billion US dollars. With the gradual opening of the Indian economy to the world, the Indian printing and packaging industry is expected to grow by 12.4% annually over the next five years.

India lacks large local printing machine manufacturers, and 90% of printing and packaging machines are mainly imported from foreign second-hand equipment, such as printing machinery from Heidelberg, Manchester, Mitsubishi, Komori, etc. Moreover, the development of subsequent processes such as die-cutting, polishing, and stamping is relatively lagging behind. In recent years, the technical level and quality of printing equipment in China have significantly improved, and some products have even reached the advanced level of international developed countries, with prices far lower than those in Europe and America. Therefore, Chinese printing equipment is highly favored by the Indian market in terms of performance and price.

In addition, China has become India's second largest trading partner with an estimated bilateral trade volume of over 40 billion US dollars in 2013. India imports a large amount of chemical raw materials, plastic raw materials, mechanical equipment and other products from China. The friendly cooperation and trade exchanges between China and India have provided an opportunity for Chinese printing equipment manufacturers to enter the Indian market.
