News:The China Consumers Association released a consumer perception survey on excessive packaging of goods on the 28th, showing that consumers are more concerned about the problem of excessive packaging of tea.
Recently, the China Consumers Association organized professional investigators to search for excessive packaging problems in the four commodity categories of edible agricultural products, tea, toys, and infant and child products on mainstream e-commerce platforms. A total of 6,160 commodities including tea leaves, 900 edible agricultural products, 920 toys, and 1,510 baby and child products were identified. The proportion of excessive packaging for tea was 11.2%, the proportion of excessive packaging for edible agricultural products and toys was 8.9%, and the proportion of excessive packaging for baby and child products was 11.2%. The proportion of packaging problems is 4.4%.
According to the survey, the main functional demands of consumers on tea packaging are as follows: "Guarantee the quality of tea, prevent moisture and deterioration" accounted for 76.9%, "good storage performance after opening" accounted for 75.8%, "easy access" accounted for 62.5%.
The China Consumers Association suggested that when formulating tea packaging standards, refer to the requirements of the new standard for moon cake and rice dumpling packaging in terms of packaging layers, packaging cost ratio, and packaging materials, and consider that the minimum weight of a single small package should not be lower than the amount of tea brewed at one time. Enterprises are encouraged to provide at least one small package with a transparent window so that consumers can see the quality of the tea, so that consumers can buy with confidence.
