Self-adhesive materials - flat die-cutting. Due to the slow machine speed, the faults such as paper edge breakage or label failure during die-cutting are not obvious, so there is basically only one waste discharge method. The first method is to discharge waste on the traction roller, and the position and diameter of the traction roller are fixed. Due to the high speed of rotary die-cutting, if the waste discharge problem is not handled properly, it will affect the normal production. At present, there are the following methods for waste discharge of circular die cutting.
① Normal waste discharge. See Figure 6-33(a). It is the structural arrangement of most materials when they are normally discharged. ②Scale down the waste discharge roller. See Figure 6-33(b). Reducing the waste discharge can increase the waste discharge angle of the paper edge. When the label is peeled off with the paper edge, this arrangement can improve the waste discharge situation and increase the stability of the label on the backing paper. ③Enlarge the waste discharge roller. See Figure 6-33(c). When the edge of the paper often breaks, increasing the waste aluminum can increase the support for the edge of the paper, improve the force of the edge of the paper, and make the edge of the paper easily peeled off from the backing paper and not easy to break. ④ Direct waste discharge method. See Figure 6-33(d). It is a passive method that is only used in special cases. When the label is cut off from the waste side and cannot be solved, this arrangement can solve the problems of dot mixture backflow, penetration, and adhesion to the paper side. The paper trim is removed immediately after die-cutting to give no time for the adhesive to flow around the label perimeter. This is an effective method, but it can easily cause the paper edge to break, the paper edge to wrap around the die-cut silver, or the adhesive to stick to the die-cut knife and damage the die-cut plate, so it is the last option. Under normal circumstances, the material with good die-cutting performance should be replaced to solve this kind of problem. ⑤Change the angle of waste discharge roller. See Figure 6-33(e). Sometimes the problem of paper edge breakage and label sticking can also be solved by changing the silver angle of the row. It can be seen from the figure that the paper edge is inclined to discharge waste from one side of the roll paper, which is easier than parallel waste discharge. For materials with poor silicon coating and strong peeling force, this arrangement is conducive to rapid waste discharge. Several waste discharge methods are listed above, the purpose is to solve the problem of paper edge breaking and label sticking in high-speed production. It should be pointed out that there are many reasons for the above problems, and the reasons should be solved from many aspects, and finally the method of changing waste discharge is used to solve the problem.
