News:A few days ago, six departments including the Municipal Market Supervision, Development and Reform Commission, Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Bureau of Commerce, and Supply and Marketing Cooperatives jointly formulated the "Implementation Plan for the Special Treatment Action of Excessive Packaging of Tea in Wenzhou City" to carry out special treatment of excessive tea packaging , the action will continue until April next year.


  According to reports, the latest revision of the State Administration for Market Regulation's "National Standards for Food and Cosmetics Restricting Excessive Packaging of Commodities" covers 31 categories of food and 16 categories of cosmetics, including tea and alcohol. The new standard clearly stipulates the number of layers of packaging, packaging costs, etc.: grain and its processed products should not exceed three layers, and other commodities should not exceed four layers; production organizations should take measures to control The cost of all other packaging shall not exceed 20% of the sales price of the product.



  During the special treatment period, the city will carry out supervision and guidance around the five major tasks of promoting the publicity and implementation of national mandatory standards, preventing excessive packaging in various links, standardizing and improving tea packaging design, strengthening industry management and supervision and law enforcement, and promoting multi-dimensional co-governance. Relevant departments have stepped up inspection and law enforcement efforts, carried out normalized joint law enforcement, investigated and dealt with a number of key cases and exposed a number of typical cases according to law.



  It is reported that the action will focus on key tea varieties and main production and sales areas, from the production, sales, design and packaging links to carry out centralized rectification. In the production link, publicize and popularize the relevant requirements of mandatory standards for restricting excessive packaging, and guide enterprises to strictly implement mandatory standards; in the sales link, urge operators not to purchase or sell excessively packaged tea, and conscientiously implement mandatory national standards. And urge the implementation of green design of tea packaging products, accelerate the cultivation of green design demonstration enterprises in the tea packaging industry, and play their role as a bridge in advocating the promotion of simple packaging and rational consumption. At the same time, strengthen law enforcement supervision and industry management, focus on major production and sales areas and key production and operation enterprises, and focus on checking product packaging void ratio, packaging layers, packaging price ratio and other items. Severely investigate and deal with the illegal production and operation of tea products with excessive packaging in accordance with the law.
