 News:On June 17, during the 29th Beijing International Book Fair, the "First International Summit Forum on Publishing Education" was held at the Beijing International Conference Center. Focusing on the two themes of "Publishing Education and Talent Cultivation in the Media Convergence Environment" and "Media Convergence Development of Multinational Publishing Companies", the forum gathered Chinese and foreign publishing academia and industry experts to conduct intensive exchanges and discussions, gather consensus on innovative publishing education, and jointly seek the publishing industry High-quality development.


  The conference also proposed the establishment of the "International Publishing Education Alliance", and welcomes domestic and foreign publishing education institutions and publishing industry institutions to actively participate in the alliance, and fulfill the mission of serving global publishing education through cooperative education, joint training, exchanges and postgraduate study abroad.

  Zhu Yongxin, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and executive vice chairman of the Democratic Progressive Central Committee, said in his speech that in the context of the rapid development of media at home and abroad, it is very meaningful to hold the International Summit Forum on Publishing Education. Whether it is publishing education and talent training under the environment of media integration, or the transformation of media integration by multinational publishing companies, new research topics have been proposed for international exchanges in the field of publishing, which need to be jointly discussed and resolved by academic circles and industries at home and abroad.



  Wu Shulin, chairman of the China Publishing Association, expressed the hope that the forum will become an exchange and innovation platform for publishing education, build a strategic fulcrum for the development of publishing disciplines, and form forward-looking innovative research results.



  "It is a great innovation to hold the International Summit Forum on Publishing Education for the first time during the Beijing International Book Fair."   The forum also held the unveiling ceremony of the Educational Publishing Translation Funding Project. In the afternoon of the same day, the Expert Forum of the International Summit Forum on Publishing Education was held at Beijing Institute of Printing and Graphic Technology. Professor Wan Anlun from Beijing Normal University, Professor Zhang Zhiqiang from Nanjing University, Professor Wang Guanyi from Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, etc., and more than 50 academic experts from more than 40 publishing education institutions across the country attended the meeting. Focusing on the theme of "Implementing the 14th Five-Year Plan of the Publishing Industry and Promoting the Continuous Innovation of Publishing Higher Education", the participating experts exchanged views on the progress of co-construction of the Publishing Institute and the experience of publishing disciplines and professional construction, and discussed "Insisting on Integrity and Innovation to High-quality Publishing Higher Education Development helps the construction of a culturally powerful country" and other issues.
