When any enterprise faces the peak production season, there will always be a choice between quality and quantity. Either seek temporary gains and ruin the future of the company; or take quality into account and work hard. If there is a problem with product quality, it will not only increase the additional costs caused by rework, but also cause customer complaints, which directly affects the company's economic benefits and damages the company's reputation. Therefore, it is imperative to strengthen enterprise product quality management. For printing companies, quality management is also a top priority!
01. Quality management of production process
The entire process of industrial production refers to a series of processes starting from market research, through product development and design, product process preparation, raw material procurement, production organization, control, inspection, packaging and warehousing to sales and service. That is to conceive and produce ideal products, promote the products to society, and provide use value to users. The basic method of total quality management is the quality management of the whole process, which ensures the quality of the product by improving the work quality of each link.
The standards for measuring the quality of the production process are: high yield, high quality, and low consumption. It can also be said that it is faster, more economical, and its quantitative indicator is reflected in the input-output rate.
In the production process, business managers strive to produce as many products as possible that meet user needs with the least labor consumption (including materialized labor and living labor). For us, it is to produce products that meet the company's quality requirements at the lowest cost.
To achieve this goal of the production process, first, all production factors, such as people, finances, materials, information, etc., must meet the needs of product production in terms of quality and quantity. This is the prerequisite and basic condition for organizing the production process. Therefore, production management must start from basic conditions. The second is to make all production factors in the best combination state during the production process, and form a complete system that is interconnected, closely coordinated, orderly, and efficient in accordance with the product production process requirements.
To ensure the best combination, which has rich management connotations, it must be implemented and realized through a series of technical methods and management measures, using the functions of planning, organization, and control. The 5S management we have recently implemented and the total quality management we will implement are specific measures to improve our management level.
The task of quality management in the production process is to achieve conformity quality so that the produced products meet the product standards required by the design. Products that meet the standards after inspection are qualified products, and products that do not meet the standards are defective or scrap products. Inspecting products is the common task of all managers and employees, and of course it is the responsibility of QC personnel.
02. Production process quality management measures
1. Insist on organizing production according to standards
Standardization work is an important prerequisite for quality management and a need to achieve management standardization. "There is no success without rules." Enterprise standards are divided into technical standards and management standards. Work standards are actually separated from management standards and are part of management standards. Technical standards are mainly divided into raw material and auxiliary material standards, process and tooling standards, semi-finished product standards, finished product standards, packaging standards, inspection standards, etc. It controls the quality of materials input into each process along the line of product formation, and checks and checks layer by layer to keep the production process under control. In the technical standard system, each standard is developed with product standards as the core, and they are all designed to meet the standards of finished products.
Management standards regulate people's behavior, regulate the relationship between people, and regulate the relationship between people and things. They serve to improve work quality and ensure product quality. It includes product process procedures, operating procedures and economic responsibility systems. The degree of enterprise standardization reflects the level of enterprise management. To ensure product quality, enterprises must first establish and improve various technical standards and management standards, and strive to support them. The second is to strictly implement standards, standardize the quality of materials and people's work in the production process, strictly assess, and honor rewards and penalties. The third is to constantly revise and improve standards, implement new standards, and ensure the advancement of standards.
2. Strengthen quality inspection mechanism
Quality inspection plays the following functions in the production process: First, the function of guarantee, that is, the function of checking. Through the inspection of raw materials and semi-finished products, identify, sort and eliminate unqualified products, and decide whether to accept the product or batch of products. It ensures that unqualified raw materials are not put into production, unqualified semi-finished products are not transferred to the next process, and unqualified products are not shipped out of the factory; the second is the function of prevention. The information and data obtained through quality inspection provide a basis for control, discover quality problems, find out the causes and eliminate them in time, and prevent or reduce the production of substandard products; the third is the reporting function. The quality inspection department will promptly report quality information and quality problems to the factory director or relevant superior departments to provide necessary quality information to improve quality and strengthen management.
To improve quality inspection work, firstly, it is necessary to establish and improve quality inspection institutions, equipped with quality inspection personnel, equipment, and facilities that can meet production needs; secondly, it is necessary to establish and improve a quality inspection system, and implement layer-by-level implementation from raw materials entering the factory to finished products leaving the factory. Check at all levels, keep original records, production workers and inspection personnel have clear responsibilities, and implement quality tracking. At the same time, the functions of production workers and inspection personnel must be closely integrated. Inspection personnel must not only be responsible for quality inspection, but also have the function of guiding production workers. Production workers cannot just focus on production. The products they produce must be inspected first, and a combination of self-inspection, mutual inspection, and special inspection must be implemented; third, the authority of the quality inspection agency must be established. The quality inspection agency must be under the direct leadership of the factory director. No department or personnel can interfere. Unqualified raw materials confirmed by the quality inspection department are not allowed to enter the factory. Unqualified semi-finished products cannot flow to the next process. Unqualified products Not allowed to leave the factory.
3. Implement quality veto power
Product quality is guaranteed by work quality, and work quality is mainly a human problem. Therefore, how to tap the positive factors of people and improve the quality management mechanism and restraint mechanism is an important link in quality work.
Quality responsibility system or economic responsibility system with quality as the core is an important means to improve the quality of people's work. Quality management occupies an important position in all aspects of enterprise management. This is because the important task of an enterprise is to produce products, provide use value to society, and at the same time obtain its own economic benefits. The core of the quality responsibility system is that enterprise managers, technical personnel, and production personnel combine responsibilities, rights, and interests on quality issues. As for quality management in the production process, we must first analyze the quality functions of each position and personnel, that is, clarify what responsibilities they have on quality issues and what the work standards are. Secondly, the product quality of job personnel must be closely linked to economic interests, and rewards and penalties must be honored. Long-term winners will be given heavy rewards, and those who neglect their duties and cause quality losses will be fined, in addition to wages, compensation or other sanctions.
In addition, in order to highlight the importance of quality management work, quality veto must also be implemented. That is to say, the quality indicator is used as a hard indicator for evaluating cadres and employees. No matter how well other work is done, as long as there is a problem with quality issues, a one-vote veto will be implemented in the selection of honorary items such as advanced, promotion, promotion, etc.
4. Grasp the key factors that affect product quality and set up quality management points or quality control points
The meaning of quality management points (control points) is the special management measures and methods adopted by the production and manufacturing site under certain conditions and in a certain period of time to implement strengthened management of the quality characteristics, key parts, weak links and main factors that need to be controlled. Keep the factory in a good state of control and ensure the specified quality requirements. Strengthening management in this area requires professional managers to conduct a systematic analysis of the entire enterprise, identify key areas and weak links, and control them.
Quality is the life of an enterprise, a display of the overall quality of an enterprise, and a reflection of the comprehensive strength of an enterprise. With the progress of human society and the improvement of people's living standards, customers have increasingly higher requirements for product quality. Therefore, if an enterprise wants to develop stably in the long term, it must carry out production around the core of quality and strengthen product quality management, so as to produce high-quality products so that business leaders can rest assured and our customers can be satisfied!
