Then, the newspaper reporter explained the development process of engraving printing and movable type printing, and personally demonstrated how to use movable type printing to print books and newspapers. Afterwards, the young reporters became very interested and personally experienced the whole process of movable type printing. First use the movable type to typeset the impression of the ancient poem content, and then use the ink-coated roller to spread the ink evenly on the movable type impression, then spread the white paper on the impression, and press it lightly with a special tool, so that the white paper comes off , a printed work came out. During the break, the children watched the popular science short film "Jiaolong No. 1 Exploring the Deep Sea" in the dome theater in the science experience area. Afterwards, the young reporters visited the printing workshops of People's Daily, Xiangyang Daily, and Xiangyang Evening News, and learned about newspaper printing, binding, typesetting and the working principle of the satellite plate transmission system.
Finally, the young reporters visited the three major pavilions of "Chinese Character Pavilion", "Chinese Papermaking Pavilion" and "Chinese Printing Pavilion" to feel the charm of traditional culture.
