News:FUJIFILM Imaging Colorants, Ltd. announced that more colors of its high-performance RxD pigment dispersion series for water-basedpigmentinkjetinkformulations are available globally. Currently, Fujifilm offers dispersions of orange PO71, green PG7 and purple PV23 pigments. The new inkjet pigment dispersions will be marketed globally by Fujifilm's Ink Solutions Group.

OGV colors are generally used to formulate ink sets. This color can extend the color gamut of the printing system beyond the color range achievable by CMYK, which is useful for achieving higher vividness and color accuracy in packaging, textile and commercial printing applications. Especially important for matching brand spot colors.

Grant Murney, Product Manager, RxD Inkjet Pigment Dispersions, said: "When developing the new RxD Orange, Green and Violet dispersions, the goal was to provide customers with products with better stability and printability. , we have carefully selected suitable polymers and processing conditions to match the standard CMYK products already in the RxD product line."

RxD pigment dispersions are used in water-based inks developed by Fujifilm for OEMs and are also available to other ink formulators.

Fujifilm's RxD dispersions are highly stable and suitable for ink formulations in different application fields. Fujifilm's reactive dispersion technology locks pigment particles in a secure cross-linked polymer cage to form a highly stable dispersion. Since this stable dispersion is compatible with ingredients used in inkjet ink formulations, stable ink formulations can be designed to meet stringent performance requirements. The high-quality pigments used in RxD dispersions comply with the Swiss SR817.023.21 regulation and are therefore also easier to implement in indirect food contact applications.

Last year, Fujifilm announced a $47 million investment to further expand its global manufacturing capabilities for RxD inkjet dispersions to meet growing demand for new applications of water-based inkjet inks and support its customer base worldwide.
