Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Beijing have the highest monthly minimum wages in the country. The monthly and hourly minimum wage standards in Jilin, Hunan, and Yunnan have all increased.

The so-called minimum wage standard refers to the minimum labor remuneration that the employer should pay according to the law on the premise that the employee provides normal labor within the statutory working hours or the working hours stipulated in the labor contract signed in accordance with the law. Among them, the monthly minimum wage standard applies to workers employed full-time, and the hourly minimum wage standard applies to workers employed part-time.

According to the Minimum Wage Regulations, different administrative regions within provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government may have different minimum wage standards.

After sorting out, it was found that after this update, there are 25 regions with the first monthly minimum wage standard of 2,000 yuan and above, namely Shanghai (2,690 yuan), Jiangsu (2,490 yuan), Zhejiang (2,490 yuan), and Beijing (2,420 yuan). , Tianjin (2320 yuan), Guangdong (2300 yuan, including Shenzhen 2360 yuan), Hubei (2210 yuan), Hebei (2200 yuan), Shandong (2200 yuan), Shaanxi (2160 yuan), Jilin (2120 yuan), Sichuan ( 2100 yuan), Liaoning (2100 yuan), Hunan (2100 yuan), Chongqing (2100 yuan), Henan (2100 yuan), Tibet (2100 yuan), Heilongjiang (2080 yuan), Yunnan (2070 yuan), Anhui (2060 yuan) ), Ningxia (2050 yuan), Fujian (2030 yuan), Gansu (2020 yuan), Hainan (2010 yuan), Jiangxi (2000 yuan).

How do workers protect their rights and interests?

If the wages paid by the employer to workers are lower than the local minimum wage, workers have the right to report and complain to the human resources and social security departments.

If a dispute arises between a worker and an employer over the implementation of the minimum wage standard, it can be resolved through negotiation; if the negotiation fails, the dispute can be submitted to a labor dispute arbitration institution with jurisdiction in accordance with the law in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Labor Dispute Mediation and Arbitration Law of the People's Republic of China. Apply for arbitration; if you are not satisfied with the arbitration result, you can file a lawsuit in the local people's court.
